Good Morning All !   Didn't do to great this week, what with Birthdays, Holidays and the rain we had.  Hope you all enjoy.  Most of these were taken at Anderson Park in Tarpon Springs.  The model is my daughter Madison.

2014 Challenge #3 - Anything with Orange

Hello Everyone!  Although it may be fall in some parts of the country, today is the first cool day we've had since May.  I just went outside and the temp. is 62 degrees.  I've been waiting all week for this.  I got all my chores and errands done.  Waiting for daylight so I can get out there and enjoy.

This weeks offering is just that . . . weak !  I'm not yet comfortable walking up alone somewhere (like in a store) and taking pictures so I'm sorry to say this is the best I could do.  

This week I used the Aperture Priority on all shots.

This is Sunshine my daughter's bearded dragon.  She's more yellow than orange, but pretty cool as long as I don't have to touch her :-)

2014 Challenge #2 - Things in Action

Hello Everyone.  This challenge was exactly that, a bit of a challenge for me.  I tried several different things and thank you to those who gave me tips.  I believe it helped a great deal. I think I like the fan shots best.

I used the Shutter Priority for all shots. The ISO was on auto.  With the first 3 I tried different shutter speeds to see what would happen.

For these 2 I used the longer shutter speed and turned the zoom while the shutter was open.

2014 Challenge #1 - Shoot anything that begins with the letter "A".

Hello Everyone!  I'm using a Canon EOS Rebel T3.  I have 2 lenses, but usually shoot with a 18-55 mm.  I try to work in different modes as I'm still attempting to learn Aperture and Shutter Speed and how they work together, but I'm starting to get a handle on it a little at a time.

Any suggestions are appreciated, as are tips (and I do mean cash) !!!

A girl I work with makes these little (creepy) dolls out of paper and sometimes corks.

Day 3 - This picture was taken one evening in June.  You can see the sun setting to the right and a heavy rain storm to the left.

Ok, day 2.  Here's another photo, this one I took. I really love this picture, it really says something about where we live and the feel of our little town!
